In Uganda, peace schools are emerging as vital tools in combating poverty and ensuring children continue their education. These institutions, often located in conflict-prone or economically disadvantaged areas, provide not only academic instruction but also crucial life skills and psychosocial support. By fostering a culture of peace and resilience, they are helping to break the cycle of poverty and empower the next generation.
